For Women’s and Assigned Females At Birth (AFAB) Health Week in 2024, Amanda Huynh, (The Diving Dietitian) hosted a series of 30 min conversations via Instagram Live with health and fitness experts to help people look after their body better.

I was honoured to join Amanda to discuss how our cultural upbringing shapes our views on mental health. We discuss how our lived experience with a Vietnamese Australian upbringing shaped our early views on mental health and well-being, and how we can use this knowledge to nourish and look after ourselves moving forward.

If you enjoy this chat, there’s plenty more in the series where Amanda talks with experts on topics such as:

  • how a regulated nervous system can help heal your Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)

  • reclaiming a healthy relationship with your body with accessible, trauma-informed yoga

  • healing your relationship with food, from an ethnic mum

  • and so much more!!
